ACT Daily Mobile App

What it is: The ACT Daily app is an ecological momentary intervention (EMI) mobile app that is designed to support the strengthening and generalization of ACT skills.

Check in: The app prompts users throughout the day to notice how they are doing on key ACT processes including:
  • Fighting feelings
  • Stuck in thoughts
  • On autopilot
  • Disconnected from values

Users can then press "quick skills" to go directly to a specific ACT skill. Or they can browse skills for opening up to feelings, getting unstuck from thoughts, getting present, or connecting with values.

Quick Skills:
ACT Daily's quick skills give specific ACT strategies that users can practice in the moment.

These quick skills are based on whatever area the user is struggling with the most (if they select Quick Skills), although users can navigate over to any of the options provided

Other Skills:
A variety of other skill coaching sessions are provided in ACT Daily including interactive worksheets and audio-guided exercises.
